Rescue Dogs Dress To Impress For Brandywine Valley SPCA’s Adoption Special

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a big sloppy kiss from a lovable rescue dog. This month is all about the love, and the cuties waiting for homes at Brandywine Valley SPCA are dressed for the occasion. As Pennsylvania’s first no kill, open admission animal shelter, BVSPCA is offering adopters a special V-day treat.
The shelter’s “Big Love” adoption event is aimed toward finding the perfect homes for all the big adoptable dogs. All adult large breed dogs will be available for adoption with a reduced adoption fee of only $14 from February 8 to February 16. The special applies to dogs that are over forty pounds and older than one year.

Large breed dogs often have a harder time finding homes than their smaller canine friends. There’s a lot of fluff and fur, but big dogs also have a lot to offer.
They make great adventure buddies, snuggle partners, and loyal best friends. Many of the big dogs at BVSPCA get along with other dogs and play well with kids. All they need is a chance to prove how well they can fit into a family.
Are you ready to bring a big dog into your life? Here are a few of the dogs waiting for homes at Brandywine Valley SPCA locations.

Silky

Silky is a 1.5-year-old female who seriously knows how to rock a flower crown. She gets along with other laid-back dogs, and she can’t wait to celebrate her favorite holiday with a new family. She’s waiting for you at the West Chester location.

Billy

The handsome fella above is named Billy. He’s already neutered, but he’s still a big hit with the ladies. He just turned a year old, and he loves life. Billy loves playing with other dogs, and he’d make a great addition to an active family. He’s also giving out kisses at the Brandywine Valley SPCA West Chester location, and he can’t wait to meet you.

Tussccii

Facebook
Can you tell that the camera just loves Tussccii? This one-year-old retriever mix is a big boy with a lot of love to give. He has experience living with other dogs and meeting kids in his prior home. He’s more than ready to get out of the shelter and settle in with new humans who will love his unique personality.

Count Wagula

Facebook
Count Wagula is a hunka hunka burning love. Just look at his dignified face! The Count is two years old and often seen letting loose with other dogs in playgroups. He’s a big boy, but that just means there’s more to love. If you meet him during the shelter’s Big Love event, he’s sure to steal your heart.
To make the deal even sweeter, a kind couple has come forward to sponsor the adoption fees for each of the dogs in this article!
These are only a few of the dogs currently ready to be adopted at Brandywine Valley SPCA. With four locations (West Chester, New Castle, Kent, and Sussex), there are plenty of dogs to choose from. Each one offers something special along with tons of unconditional love.
