We’re not even halfway through, but 2020 is already proving to be a crazy year. With most of the population quarantined at home, a lot of us have taken drastic measures to stay sane. We’re trying our best to maintain a sense of “normal,” and with most businesses temporarily shut down, it’s led to a lot of adventures in DIY. One of the most cringe-worthy do-it-yourself trends is the quarantine dog haircut. A lot of people have taken to cutting their own hair, but for this post, we’d like to draw your attention to man's best friend, the dogs. With dog groomers shut down, our fluffy friends have had to go without their monthly visits to the grooming salon. The result has been some seriously shaggy canines. But, remember it is important to maintain the upkeep of your dog's hair, especially long-haired dogs as they are susceptible to matting. Be sure to include; ear cleaning, nail trimming, and teeth brushing. Pet parents with the best intentions have taken to grooming their dogs themselves, and let’s just say, it’s not as easy as the professional groomers make it look.
